It’s just a month away until Guy Fawkes Night and St Ives never fails to put on an impressive show for November 5^th.

Pop on your wellies and jacket and take a stroll from the comfort of our luxury self catering accommodation in St Ives and bimble along the harbour front to Porthminster Beach where the fun begins. You will find the beach bustling with people and live music. Tuck into delicious food at the Porthminster Beach Café BBQ and start the festive season with a glass of mulled wine or cider to keep you warm. If you really want to make it an occasion you can book a window table in the restaurant and enjoy the fireworks display whilst dining in style. Though we do advise booking ahead, and if you’re staying in one of our luxury self catering apartments in St Ives you can call the team in the office and we will make the reservations for you. With the back-drop of the lit-up harbour and glittering reflections of the explosions of colour over the ocean it really is a magical place for November 5^th.

If you fancy a longer walk follow the coastal path from Porthminster Beach to Carbis Bay and indulge yourself with the array of sweet and savoury treats on offer including toffee apples, candy floss, freshly made doughnuts, burgers and hot dogs! Then grab a sparkler and get cosy by the bonfire on the beach whilst you watch the glittering display
